If you know Noah you know he loves Nerf modding. While Nerf may seem like a silly hobby to some there’s a small group of dedicated hobbyists that will take a perfectly functioning, brand new Nerf gun just to pull it apart. Usually modding involves replacing motors, battery systems, switches, electronic controls, flywheels, safeties, magazines, air restrictions etc. This is combined with various drilling, cutting, epoxying, custom 3D printing, sanding, re-bolting components of multiple Nerf guns together and finishing it with a cool design and exquisite paint job – ideally with water transfer printing (aka hydro dipping). Advanced modding may include optical tracking, radio control, motion control, analog/digital converters etc. along with dart modifications and chronograph velocity measuring… as with many hobbies, the sky is the limit.

We hope Noah get’s back to his hobby very soon!
